The Police Dependants' Trust financially supports police officers and dependants of police officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. The Trust is currently trying to eensure that everyone who might need its assistance knows of its existence, what it can offer and how to get in touch.

  • Police officers can register with the Trust:
    • Through your Force welfare officer
    • or by calling the Trust directly on 020 8941 6907

  • Police officers and the general public can support the Trust:
    • By calling 020 8941 6907 to give a donation or organise to leave a legacy
    • or donate online by clicking here

The Trust is a registered charity that relies on the generosity of police officers, patrons and the general public to continue their invaluable work. Your donation will enable the Trust to help those in need by providing funeral grants, maintenance grants, children's grants, holiday grants and special purposes grants. There are some 5115 families registered with the Trust and we are paying some £2.2 million in grants.

The Trust covers members of all police forces in the United Kingdom, as defined in the Police Act 1964 and the Police (Scotland) Act 1967, officers on overseas or central service who have statutory reversionary rights, and officers from the former RUC now the PSNI, special constables and police cadets
