There are some 5115 families registered with the Trust and we are paying some £2.2 million in grants.
The Trust covers members of all police forces in the United Kingdom, as defined in the Police Act 1964 and the Police (Scotland) Act 1967, officers on overseas or central service who have statutory reversionary rights, and officers from the former RUC now the PSNI, special constables and police cadets
